So, as I'm going through Zoom Math's email for the morning, I come across a thing from amazon, introducing "the significant seven" editors' picks. I glance through them, think they look kind of interesting... ooh, a fantasy one, recommended by Terry Brooks, intriguing. I look through the details on the product page to see what else I can find out. I find a blog post from the author, it amuses me. It also piques my interest a bit more, since it mentions meeting Tad Williams and that he recommends the book. I see that the post is syndicated on amazon from the author's website and I go there. After reading another blog post I go through the website a bit more, and come across the "About the Author." It very much amuses me (particularly the T-shirt he's wearing)! I shall have to read The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss.

Unintended Truth
Seen today on a TI-84 Plus Silver Edition ebay ad: THIS CALCULATOR IS THE BEST GRAPHING CALCULATOR ON THE MARKET TODAY, NOT BECAUSE OF JUST THE PRICE AND MANY MODES, BUT ALSO BECAUSE IT DOES SO MANY DIFFERENT FUNCTIONS WITH SO LITTLE EASE!!!
I may not have actually been rolling on the floor, but the laughter just kept coming. Why, it actually gave me warm fuzzies. (This is one of the calculators Zoom Algebra is designed for.)

Language Confusion
Today I accidentally said something in Spanish with the intonation I would use in Japanese. It sounded stranger than it sounds.
