It was a joy to read, similar in those ways to The Little Prince – just longer, and with different subject matter. It is, in fact, the story of a mouse, a princess, some soup, and a spool of thread. It is of darkness and light, heroes and beauty. It is a Newbery Medal winner. Read it, if you enjoy children’s books.
